    Making a Splash!

I discovered my passion for teaching swimming in 2007 when I did my first training to become an instructor. I have taught many competitive swimmers who have represented our nation at the regional and international levels. I also take great joy in seeing someone fearful of the water become confident and able to enjoy their space in the water with skills they have acquired.

    Ripples Beyond the Water

As a sport administrator, I am proud of the work I do as an International Technical Official and being instrumental in getting our swimming federation reconstituted to include both pool and open water clubs.

    Making a Splash!

Through the process of getting formal instruction to master swim strokes, my passion and enthusiasm for swimming grew, inspiring me to share both the joy of the activity and the skills needed to pursue it with others.

One of my proudest accomplishments as a swim instructor has been working with a student with special needs—an experience that strengthened my ability to keep learners motivated, engaged, and confident in the water.

    Ripples Beyond the Water

Outside the water, I focus on the intersection of law and technology, working regionally and internationally to advance digital transformation.

    Making a Splash!

My interest in teaching swimming comes from my own journey in the water. I wasn’t always confident, and I still remember the one instructor who was patient enough to help me move past that fear. That experience shaped the way I teach—I want my swimmers to feel supported, understood, and capable.

    Ripples Beyond the Water

I’ve been a classroom teacher for over 10 years, and in that time I’ve learned that every child grows at their own pace—sometimes all they need is someone who believes in them. That philosophy guides me in the water as much as it does in the classroom.

    Making a Splash!

I have always felt a deep connection to the water, and I want young people in Antigua and across the Caribbean to experience that same sense of confidence and freedom.

My dream is for every young person in our region to learn to swim and discover the beauty of the sea without barriers standing in their way.

    Ripples Beyond the Water

Outside the pool, I am dedicated to supporting children in their overall growth.

    Making a Splash!

I was exposed to structured swim lessons with a reputable swim club when I was young, and it continues to have an impact on my life. This was the birth of a symbiotic relationship between me and the water.

I believe that water, whether on land or in the ocean, is something that everyone should be able to enjoy safely.

    Ripples Beyond the Water

The fact that I completed a solo kayak trip to a deserted island and stayed overnight is something I am proud of. Truly an experience that I will never forget and for which I have made a promise to myself to do again in the near future.
